SendCourier.in — India's AI-powered doorstep courier booking platform.

For the safety of our logistics network, aviation security, and in compliance with Indian laws, SendCourier.in strictly prohibits the booking and shipping of certain dangerous, illegal, or high-risk goods. The restrictions below apply to all major courier partners including Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, DHL, FedEx, and UPS, based on risk, value, legal regulations, and transportation safety requirements.

1. Customer Liability Warning

By handing over a parcel to the courier executive, you legally declare that the package does not contain any restricted items. If a parcel is found to contain prohibited goods during X-Ray scanning at the logistics hub:

The shipment will be immediately seized or destroyed without compensation.
Your SendCourier.in account will be permanently banned.
You may be subjected to severe legal action and penalties by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or local law enforcement authorities.

3. Restricted Items (Permitted with Conditions)

Some items marked Limited / Restricted above may be accepted by select courier partners under specific conditions:

Electronics with Batteries: Must be securely packaged inside the device, powered off, and declared correctly. Value limits apply per partner.
Prescription Medicines: Require a valid prescription copy attached and are subject to partner approval.
Plants & Seeds: Subject to APEDA/phytosanitary regulations and destination-specific rules.
Perishable Food: Only via couriers with a cold-chain / temperature-controlled network. Not available on standard booking.
Non-Flammable Liquids: Must be double-sealed in leak-proof containers and shipped via Surface mode only.
Antiques & Artwork: Require prior declaration of value and may need professional packing. Subject to per-partner limits.

4. High Value Item Policy

SendCourier.in does not accept shipments where the declared item value exceeds ₹25,000. Items such as gold jewellery, loose diamonds, currency, bonds, and high-end electronics above this threshold must use a specialised valuables logistics provider (e.g., Brinks, SIS Prosegur, or bank-authorised carriers). We are not liable for any loss or damage to any item regardless of declared value.
