For the safety of our logistics network, aviation security, and in compliance with Indian laws, SendCourier.in strictly prohibits the booking and shipping of certain dangerous, illegal, or high-risk goods.

1. Customer Liability Warning

By handing over a parcel to the courier executive, you legally declare that the package does not contain any restricted items.If a parcel is found to contain prohibited goods during X-Ray scanning at the logistics hub:

• The shipment will be immediately seized or destroyed without compensation.
• Your SendCourier.in account will be permanently banned.
• You may be subjected to severe legal action and penalties by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or local law enforcement authorities.

2. Prohibited Goods Categories

You must absolutely NOT ship any of the following items:

Explosives & Firearms

• Ammunition, firearms, weapons, gun parts, or realistic replicas.
• Fireworks, firecrackers, flares, or any explosive compounds.

Flammable & Hazardous Materials

• Aerosol cans, compressed gas cylinders, or fire extinguishers.
• Flammable liquids (e.g., petrol, diesel, lighter fluid, paints, alcohol, sanitizers).
• Corrosive chemicals, acids, bleach, or radioactive materials.
• Lithium batteries (loose) or devices with damaged batteries.

Narcotics & Illegal Substances

• Illegal drugs, narcotics, or unregulated psychoactive substances.
• Prescription medications without proper authorization and paperwork.

Valuables & Currency

• Cash, currency notes, bearer bonds, or negotiable instruments.
• Gold bullion, precious stones, loose diamonds, or high-value unappraised jewellery.

Perishables & Live Organisms

• Live animals, pets, insects, or biological specimens.
• Human remains or ashes.
• Perishable food items, fresh fruits, vegetables, or temperature-sensitive goods without prior cold-chain approval.

Illegal & Counterfeit Products

• Counterfeit goods, pirated materials, or items infringing on IP rights.
• Pornography, obscene material, or politically sensitive propaganda banned by the Government of India.

3. Restricted Items (Permitted with Conditions)

Some items may be shipped via Surface Transport Only or require special packaging and declarations:

• Electronics with Batteries: Must be securely packaged inside the device, powered off, and shipped via Surface.
• Liquids (Non-Flammable): Must be double-sealed in leak-proof containers and shipped via Surface.
